Post hoc analysis tries to find out the patterns that are not the main objectives of the research through the data of the research that has been concluded. In other words, any “extra” analysis that is not planned and executed in advance and is only conducted after the research is completed is called post hoc analysis. Post hoc research uses the collected data to conduct new analysis for new goals, which is not in the original plan of the experiment.
